When I was creating the picture of these terrifying pancakes I was struggling with making the mouth actually look like a part of the pancakes. In the end i didn't even think that i got it to look as good as they could've been. I ended up messing with color filters and the brightness and contrast. I think the outcome was better than when I left these untouched. the primary tool that we were to focus on was the liquify tool. It created the opening for the mouth. Secondly think we learned a little bit about I the opacity as well.
When i was creating these apples we were learning how to make a "reflection" and make that reflection look realistic. We worked with gradients, magic wand tool, and copies of the original picture. When working on copying the image i was having trouble because it wouldn't flip the copied image at all. I figured it out in the end it was a problem with the selected portions of the images. Other than thats this project was smooth sailing.
Now this one was a problem for me. I couldn't work with the clone stamp tool. Like at all, but then i realized that the wrong layer was selected and it made a huge mess. I ended up having to restart the project, and working from scratch. Then used the burn tool that my partner beside introduced me to and the final product was to my liking. It could use some improvement but i like the result.
