This is my social issue poster. It is about how people always stereotype Rap, Hip-Hop and R&B to be about drugs, gangs, and women. Some cases this is absolutely true, but the majority of the music is not. I like to view it as an artform, cause in my eyes it is. They are able to express feelings and emotions, desires and conflicts, trying times and tell a story about their life all in one piece. You can feel their pain and all in all its simply beautiful sometimes. And its not just like this for Rap, Hip-Hop and R&B alone. Music in general is an artform. I've been effected more by some music i heard than i have by any novel i have ever read. So to people who think its all about drugs and things of the sort, think again and listen to some real, deep, and intuitive music from the genre
I had a lot of fun working with brushes. Learning how to make use of the layers and dimensions. I hate the process of having to erase the little bits and pieces, it's so tedious and time consuming but o well. I chose soccer for obvious reasons. I enjoy soccer. I played it for many years of my life and it consumed a good portion of my life.
Theres no real reason as to why i chose this picture or did what i did to it. I liked the way the brushes turned out and the way the waves ripple from the ball right before he is about to kick it. It synergizes really well. I think this picture/gif really represent me a lot. I spent a good 10+ years of my life playing soccer and practicing to get better. Really a lot of my improving was due to this. Juggling. It was stupid really, that kicking a ball up and down in the air could make you better. But it did. I used to think that this was just a waste of time but after dedicating 30 minutes a day to specifically juggling I showed tremendous improvement in multiple aspect of my game.
It seemed easy after I improved juggling, it was like clockwork; left right left right left right left right. Repetitive and seemingly endless. It was.. Boring to say the least, but hey somethings just need to get done. This is a very simple edit, however i really couldn't be made much more complicated with the knowledge that i have, cause the show is really that simple. 'draws a circle on a chalk board with certain chalk and a magic portal to the chalk dimension appears. It's simple, yet i love the show. I really can't explain how i did this, i cut a circle out of a chalk board and layer them so that the character would appear in the circle.
When i was creating this, i really only wanted to focus on the hair. I wanted to get a wide variety of colors within each layer. I was originally planning to go with a Goku, Dragon Ball Z sorta hair, but then i realized how challenging that would be. Plus im not good of a drawer so i just decided to play around with it until i reach a point i liked.
When i finally enjoyed the how the hair looked. i realized that it was almost time for us to leave the library. I sorta rushed the face and the features on my face. What i was going for when i was creating this logo design for the NC State Fair was creativity, i was primarily wanting to fiddle with Photoshop tools and see what i could create from essentially scratch. I had some help from a friend who is very well versed in Photoshop, he has been doing ti for years and he help me through the entire process. We sampled the Tent from a picture and blacked it out and created everything else using Photoshop and shapes.
The final product wasn't really what i wanted, procrastinated A LOT and kinda rushed it near the end. I feel as though this could have and should have been a lot better than the final outcome. This is very simple, however i had a lot of fun making it. i learned plenty of new things. When i was thinking of an idea for my Newimal, at first i had no idea on what to do. i thought of very similar animals cause i thought they would combine neatly. In the end i chose the elephant and butterfly because i thought that the final outcome would look very cool and it would catch peoples eyes. When i had just started working on the project i had to think about how i would combine the two animals (butterfly and elephant). I thought of making the ears of the elephant the colors of the butterflies wings but in the end i thought it wouldn't be as cool as simply replacing the ears of the entirely for wings essentially making the body of the butterfly the elephants head. We were confused about how we would combine the two images but when we saw the way the Penca (penguin and orca) was looking, we decided to make the connection that the Penca was just looking at the Elephly ( Elephant and Butterfly). |
