I did WALL-E for my objects make a hole project. I have real idea why, i felt as though i could get creative with the items that i decided to use in his body. I did olives for his eye pupils if could call them that. Plates for the iris, and watermelon for the sclera. A Box for the body of WALL-E and a car exhaust for the mechanical arms. Pencils for the fingers or clamps that WALL-E has, and triangle tracks for.. well his tracks. An apple for the back thingy that WALL-E has, and a banana for his neck thing and a pill where a connector for his eyes would go. We originally planned on doing a claymation. However we didn't have the artistic capabilities that we thought we did. We tried to make them fight while they were standing up but then they kept falling apart and we decided the scrap that idea. Then we tried to make them fight as they were laying on a whiteboard but we couldn't make the fighting motion look like they should and we scrapped that idea as well. So we ended up doing this, an extremely talented soccer player hitting the bullseye and kicking the ball right at the players face.
The man is a very talented soccer player and he is juggling the ball and sees a player walk onto his field and BAM he just kicks the ball right in the face, territorial little one isn't he. When i was creating this image i was really really focusing on the final product. This picture is of an old friend of mine who really made a big impact on my life and i would not be where i am today without her. I also just find her very beautiful and decided she would be an excellent choice for this project. I had a lot of fun making it and i think it suits my old friend Erica very well.
I couldn't quite get her nose to be visible though, i finished the project in about 30 minutes tops and spent the rest of class trying to figure out a way to make her nose visible and never succeeded :(. The colors matches her personality very well. Shes a very nice person for the most part (green color), but give her a reason not to be she won't be so friendly in the future. Even though she is no longer in my life i am very thankful to have known her. (fix i got her nose i be visible) When i was creating this i was confused about how on earth to use a path. I eventually figured it out but didn't like the way it looked. I kept it though. When i was editing the image of Bobby Brown, i used Saturation, Color Curves and Stylize.
